An awareness training titled “From Addiction to Cybersecurity: Conscious and Safe Living” was organized for the students of Gölhisar Health Services Vocational School by the Burdur Provincial Police Department.
The program, held in two sessions on October 7, 2026, in the Gölhisar SHMYO Conference Hall, addressed the effects of addiction on physical, mental, and social life. The importance of healthy living habits, making conscious decisions in the face of peer pressure, being able to say “no” to risky offers, and seeking professional support when necessary was emphasized.
In the cybersecurity section, the protection of personal data, strong passwords, two-factor authentication, and measures that can be taken against online fraud were discussed. Information was also provided on cyberbullying, privacy, and balanced technology use.
The training aimed to increase students' awareness of addiction and cyber risks and to support safe living habits.
